Formerly Dane Bank House. Now flats and maisonette. Late C18, altered internally and at rear. Red brick (Flemish bond) on sandstone plinth, with stone band at 1st floor; grey slate roofs. T-shaped (with rear wing) symmetrical front of 2 storeys and 5 windows comprises centrepiece of 3 windows under pediment gable with moulded stone cornice, and recessed wings with recessed canted 2-storey bay windows to ends. Attached Roman Doric portico of red sandstone. Double 3-panel doors (top panels glazed) under plain semi-circular fan (with late C20 metal embellishment). Recessed small-pane sashes. Left side of 3-storey rear wing has 3-panelled door in Roman Doric stone case with basket-arched landing window opening (stone pads and key) above, containing recessed shaped sash; further to rear is a 3-storey brick bow window with triple sashes divided by half-columns and with quarter-pilasters in corners to lower and middle storeys and 6-pane sash to upper storey. Interior not inspected, but altered in conversion.
