Detached manor house. 1679, but largely reconstructed 1879 after a fire. Ham stone ashlar; plain clay tile roofs between coped gables; stone chimney sticks. 'L'-plan: 2 storeys with attics; 4 bays, of which bay 1 is a plain gabled projection. Plinth, continuous ground floor label string, stepped, and eaves moulding; ovolo-mould mullioned windows with square labels at upper levels, 4-light to ground floor, 3-light to first and 2-light to attic gables of bays 2 and 3, which have obelisk finials to their gable copings; bay 4 has 2-lights below and a single-light above, the latter without label; between hays 2 and 3 projecting timber and glazed porch with lead flat roof; rectangular leaded panes to all windows, including porch: return elevation of bay 1 to match: but with parapeted flat-roofed C19 bay window of 1+4+l lights to ground floor; to dormer gable of this return a sundial with triangular gnomon, and to dormer gable of bay 2 a 1679 date plaque. Interior not seen. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
