House. C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Stone rubble, some painted,
the house front and left return roughcast, slate roof. Two storeys, two bays, with
lower outbuilding to left of one storey with attic and two bays, now part of
house. Windows are sashed with vertical glazing bars; that to 2nd bay has
smaller window to right of mullion, with paired sash above, 4th bay has two small
windows. Entrance has 6-fielded-panel door and gabled trellis porch; entrance
to 3rd bay has slate gabled hood. Two gable-end stacks. Rear has outshut under
catslide roof to outbuilding and stair wing under catslide roof with re-entrant
porch. INTERIOR has chamfered beams and fielded-panel partition with dado rail
and door. Fielded-paned spice cupboard door, Stair has square newels, moulded
handrail but no balusters. Turned post to rear of mullion to window to 2nd bay.
