The latter is effectively carried on quoin pilasters at the foot of which, flanking the shaped apron of the 1st floor sill, are crouching Michelangel-esque female figures whilst between 1st and 2nd floors, flanking former name panel, and recessed in the quoin pilasters, are shallow relief panels of female draped figures, rather a la Jean Goujon. In front of the 3rd floor window an iron trelliswork railing with ornately finialed flanking standards.
