Commercial premises and chambers (now gallery and offices). 1877
by E. Salomons. Fine quality red brick, slate roof. Queen Anne
transitional style. 4 storeys. 3 windows wide. Ground floor has
been rebuilt (later C20) in keeping,with gallery window to right
and entrance to left with brick plat band arched over. Above the
doorway are 2 original oculi flanking ornately moulded brick console
bracket supporting 3 storey sharply bowed oriel, flanked by
pilasters, with glazing bar sash windows. 2 windows to right in
vertically linked through-storey architraves of moulded brick,
glazing bar sashes. Moulded brick cornices carved across each
floor of front including oriel. Brick pediments over right hand
window bays above 3rd floor cornice, under balustraded sections of
parapet.
