Row of cottages, nos. 9 and 11 back-to-backs. Late C18. Hammer- dressed stone (watershot), stone slate roof. "T"-shaped.2 storeys to street, 3 storeys to stream at rear. 6 bays. Each cottage has doorway with monolithic jambs and rectangular fanlight to left of 4-paned sashed window with plain stone surround. 2 smaller sashes to 1st floor. 2 stacks to ridge and one other set forward. Rear has 3 bays of sashed windows to each floor. Left-hand return wall has doorway (No.9) and single-light window to each floor.
