2 houses, with outbuildings between. Original house has lintel inscribed "IG/1649", extension c.1800 with further extension of 1920s. Roughcast stone with slate roofs. 2 storeys, original house of 3 bays with single-storey bay to left and outbuildings to right; later house 6 bays; the 1st bay, lower, is end bay of outhouses, the end 2 bays are of 1920s. Original house has dripcourse over ground-floor raised over decorated lintel to entrance. Ground floor windows have C20 casements with leaded glazing, 1st bay has fire window with stone surround. 1st floor has 1:4:3:4-light single-chamfered mullioned windows. Gable-end stack and cross-axial stack. Outbuildings have entrance and loading doors. Later house has sashed windows with glazing bars, those to 2nd, 4th and 6th bays have paired sashes; 1st bay has C20 casements with leaded glazing. Entrance has half-glazed panelled door with flat canopy on shaped brackets. 2 gable-end and 2 cross-axial stacks. Rear, similar. Earlier house has small-paned casements to return of rear wing, later house has C20 wing next to lean-to projection. Interior of original house has chamfered beams, that to fireplace with fielded panels. Panelled timber partition and heck partition; fireplace made from sills and lintels from former ground floor windows. Plank and muntin partitions to 1st floor.
