Farmhouse. C17, C18 additions; altered C20. Rendered sandstone rubble, slate roofs. Originally L-plan with main part aligned north-west/south- east and with wing to north-east at north-west end; C18 extension to north-west forming a T-plan. Large axial stack at junction of wings, further stack to south-east gable end, entrances in both angles of "T" and further entrance to south of south-east front. Two storeys, altered fenestration, main entrance; (north angle) two square-headed windows with 2-light casements to right, (north-west wing) 3-light metal framed C20 window to left,(north-east wing) partly-glazed door, steps up to doorway to north-west gable end. 4-light stone mullioned window with moulded jambs remains intact to north-east wing. Interior: exposed stop-chamfered ceiling beams. The added north-west wing contains a granary to the first floor and wash house below.
