Inn. C17. Ham stone ashlar; plain clay tiles over stone slates to northern half, double Roman clay tiles over stone slates to southern half, between coped gables; stone chimney stacks with traditional baffles. Two storeys, 5 bays. High plinth bays 3 to 5 only: ovolo-mould mullioned windows of 4+4+4+3 lights above, and 5-light lower bay 1 and 4-light lower bay 3, all with labels except upper bay 4; bay 5 is an angled bay with 1+4+1 light to both levels, under a flat roof: lower bay 2 window now replaced by 6-panel door, and to lower bay 4 a 6-panel door set in architrave under moulded flat stone hood. To south gable a lean-to with segmental arched doorway. Three triangular-headed stairlights in north gable; considerable extension to rear. Interior only partly examined; the north room has large open fireplace with flat-chamfered timber beam, deep chamfered beams to 4- bay ceiling, and a plank screen with triangular headed door; cambered arched fireplace to centre room, and another in south room, which has C18 dado panelling; similar fireplaces and panelling to first floor: collar trussed roof.
