House. At one time the house occupied by the Agent of the Leconfield Estate. It was built by the Peachey family in the C17, but of the original building nothing is visible from the outside at the front except the crest of the steeply-pitched roof. It has been refronted and added to in the early C18 and is now the shape of a double-L. Three storeys. Ashlar. Parapet with cornice. Slate roof. Porch of solid type with round-headed window on first floor above it. Narrow window on each side of this centre window bay on all floors, and then a twin window on each side of these. All windows sash windows in coved reveals with wide glazing bars intact. To the east is a blind 2 sash portion. Projecting north from the west end is an L-wing, possibly added in the late C18. This has 3 windows on all floors in moulded architrave surrounds with keystones over. The north end has a dummy Venetian window on first floor, cornice and pediment with dummy lunette window in the tympanum. Photographs in the National Buildings Record.
