GV II
House and smithy, now 2 cottages. Probably C17, recast in C19. Coursed rubble, part timber-frame, concrete tiled roof, stack to centre and left end. Two storeys, 3 windows: ground floor windows under sgemental heads, C19 casements of 12 panes to left and right of entrance, small 6-paned casement between entrance and window right of entrance; first floor: 3 evenly placed 8-light casements. Entrance between 2 left hand windows under C17 timber-framed porch supported on rubble side walls: gable on 8 contemporary turned balusters to each side, 2 pegged miniature trusses with ties supporting raking struts; ledged, C19 door under segmental head. C19 extension to left consisting of single storey garage extension with 2 C20 casements and 2 zinc-plated garage doors. Right hand gable. has raking struts from collar, queen struts, thick jowls and two 4-light C20 casements visible above C19 lean-to with tiled roof, C20 glazed door and 6-paned vented window. Interior: square panelling to left of entrance; chamfered beams.
