Cottage, probably cottage pair originally. C18, mainly refenestrated in C20 when a porch was
added. Timberframed, with frame of thin scantling exposed on front elevation with rendered infill,
other elevations rendered. Thatched roof with eyebrow dormers and central painted brick stack.
Two room plan with central back-to-back hearth. One storey and attics; 2:4 windows. Outer
windows on ground floor could be built out doorcases. C20 porch on right hand side. Rear
elevation has outshot and C20 gabled dormer. Interior has 2 cambered brick fireplaces and exposed
frame including spine beam and diagonal tension braces.
