Public house. C17 and C18. Timber framed structure with colourwashed brick infill to first floor, ground floor partly cased partly rebuilt in colourwashed brick. Thatched roofs. Consists of 2 linked parallel gabled blocks, the front block obscuring the RH part of the rear block. Earlier rear block 2-storeyed, front block one storey and attics. Front block as one 2-light casement with glazing bars to each floor, attic one in eyebrow dormer. C20 off-centre door. Rebuilt brick ridge stack and external gable end stack to LH. Rear block as 3-light casement to ground floor and 2-light casement to first floor, both with glazing bars. Red brick double ridge stack.
