11/250 Wintle monument in churchyard, about 8m south of tower, Church of St. Peter and St. Paul
GV II Short chest tomb; Jonathan Wintle, died 1731; stone. Flat lid, moulded edge, slightly indented corners on long sides. Very elongated quarter-square corner balusters. South face head with wings in centre top, with well carved and preserved rococo frame to panel. North face plain. West end raised rectangular panel with indented semi-circular top, cyma edge moulding, rococo spandrel. East end fielded panel, scalloped top corners with rococo decoration. Chamfered top to plinth. One of group of 5 listed Wintle monuments, (q.v.).
