Block of flats with shop and bank. 1894-96 by H.C. Boyes. Red brick with plenty of stone dressings, slate roof. Shavian Queen Anne style. 4 storeys, basement gabled attics and 2 tiers of dormers. 5 windows wide above ground floor. Original stone framed shop fronts to No. 11 and 12, later shop front to No. 10. Paired entrances to Nos, 11 and 12 grouped to right with oculus fanlights, one with broken pediment-hood. The upper floors have casemented flat fronted oriels rising through 3 storeys, their segmental pediments interrupting the boldly modillioned main cornice. Above the cornice with its crowning balustrade the centre and end oriels are crowned by Dutch gables topped by small segmental pediments. Prominent ribbed and corniced chimney stacks. 1st floor shallow balustraded balcony carried on robust garlanded console brackets. Cast iron area railings. Part of the Grosvenor Estate's late C.19 redevelopment.
