Terrace of houses. c.1843-45 as early part of Thomas Cubitt's Pimlico development with designs either by Thomas or his brother Lewis Cubitt. Stucco, slate roofs. Symmetrical terrace with terminal pavilion blocks, Nos. 46 and 47 forming a north return elevation to right. 3 storeys and basement with the corner pavilion blocks of 4 storeys. Each front 2 windows wide, the corner pavilions with one window each to Millbank and 3-window wide returns. Channelled ground floors have entrances to left, 2-panel doors with rectangular margin glazed fanlights in square headed recesses, square headed recessed glazing bar sash to ground floor. 1st floor sashes semicircular arched and set within similarly arched panels; the 2nd floor flat arched sashes articulated by pilaster piers. Moulded cornice and blocking course. The corner pavilions, Nos. 48 and 57; are plainer with stucco window surrounds, the attic storey with crowning coping-course; No. 48 has Doric column porch to north return; No. 57 has simple pilastered shop front under entablature-fascia. Nos. 46 and 47 to north return are also plainer, without the round headed 1st floor window detail. Cast iron spear head area railings.
