Detached house. 1909. Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Painted pebbledash with ground-floor, openings brick, that to recessed entrance porch segmental-arched, the rest flat; tile eatherings. Hipped roof of late C20 tile with swept, boxed eaves, interrupted by first-floor half dormers, all of which are hipped. Two storeys and three-window range, unlike the rest of Asmuns Hill it has an asymmetrical elevation; entrance porch in second range, just off centre axis of the block, with single two-light casement to the left and a pair of two-light casements to the right. Three-light dormer to third range, the rest of two. Ridge stack to the left of third-window range; axial stack to the left of second range, rear slope of roof. Left return with a pair of catslide dormers and canted bay to the ground floor near front corner. To right return, chimney breast and stack; to the right a single-storey entrance porch. Doors are altered; casements of original design. One of the few detached houses in the artisans' quarter of the Suburb, it is part of the Asmuns Hill group, a most important example of a complete Parker and Unwin streetscape.
