Cottage. Mid C19. Sandstone rubble with limestone quoins, plinth and dressings, double-Roman tile roof, no stacks. Gothic Revival style. 2-unit plan, with lean-to wings to the sides. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. C20 porch to a C19 planked-and-studded door; diagonal-leaded lights to paired 2-light windows, those at eaves level with semicircular arches, those to the ground floor with pointed arches; a quatrefoil window above the door is in a diagonally-set freestone square. Steps to each side lead down to pointed-arched doorway in a lean-to which slopes from eaves level. Above the doors are blind trefoil windows, that to the left is obsured by ivy. Rear windows are blocked. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to the rear left a limestone rubble wall approx 1.5m high and 23m long extends to the south-east along Wood Lane.
