House. Early C19 much restored. Limestone ashlar, stone ridge and coped gables to slate roof with moulded ashlar stacks, that to the left with a brick shaft, that to the right truncated. Neo-classical style. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; symmetrical 3-window range. 3 gabled dormers. C20 horned 8/8-pane sashes. Parapet and cornice; platband and plinth. A large flat-roofed enclosed projecting porch with C20 timber cornice has incised panels to the front and small windows to the returns; the 6-panel door with bolection moulding and a cast-iron wreathed knocker is probably repositioned. The porch is flanked by plain walls and a window to each side. Above the narrow platband are pilasters, incised segmental-arched panels framing the side windows; the central bay is stepped forward with a segmental-arched pediment to the parapet and a segment arch to the window below (the window has a flat-arched frame). INTERIOR: not inspected. A distinctive early C19 facade.
