II
Rectory, now a private house. Circa 1820. Rendered brick with moulded brick dressings. Clay plain tile roof with coped gable-ends and crested ridge-tiles. Gable-end stacks with pairs of diagonally-set shafts. PLAN: Double-depth plan. Principal rooms on the west front, main entrance on the north side and probably service rooms to the east. Tudor Gothic style. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attics. Symmetrical 3-bay west front with three gables with moulded brick coping, polygonal brick pinnacles and pendants and brick battlements; canted bays to left and right with sash windows and tile-hung aprons; central doorway with Gothic porch with similar gable, pointed arch and French casement, 2-light sash above with glazing bars. North side: gable-end of front range on right and embattled parapet to lower 2-storey back range on left, asymmetrical, various sashes and gabled porch near centre with pointed arch and glazed and panelled door. South side and rear [east] has similar porches, the rear with sash windows with glazing bars. INTERIOR not inspected.
