Summerhouse in grounds of Westwood Hall

Summerhouse. 1850-53. Probably designed by Hadfield, Weightman
and Goldie, the architects of Westwood Hall. Red sandstone
ashlar with tooled plinth and scallop-tiled roof. Octagonal,
with 4-centred arched doorway with triple round-arched
mullioned overlight in one face, and triple round-arched
mullioned and transomed windows with continuous cill band, in
other faces. Pineapple finial surmounts roof.
