House, now offices. Mid C19, with later C19 rear outshut.
Brick, stuccoed on front and right (west) flank elevations,
red brick, laid to Flemish bond at rear, and rear outshut with
flush bands and imposts of Staffordshire blue brick. Welsh
slated roof with shallow bracket eaves and pommelled soffit at
front, hipped roof over rear outshut.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 5-bay facade. First floor has 5 recessed
12-pane sashes, with moulded architrave stucco surrounds, and
sills with projecting block supports at each end. Second floor
has 5 squatter 9-pane sashes, with stucco sills rusticated
quoins at left and right. Ground floor rusticated, with 4
recessed 12-pane sash windows with stucco sills, central
doorway, 3 stone steps above street, with Tuscan pilasters,
raised carved consoles, entablature with fascia running full
width of building, and triangular pediment with heavy moulded
cornice.
Right (west) flank elevation has arched windows ground and
first floor, flat-headed on second floor, with moulded sill
and impost bands, the latter arched as dripmoulds over
first-floor windows, below moulded eaves cornice.
Rear elevation of main building has sash windows on second
floor, long casements on first floor with plat band at
second-floor level.
Rear outshut with plate glazed sashes, rear (south) elevation
with 1 sash left and right of corbelled chimneybreast.
