Property markers. c1837-56, New River Company. Cast-iron. Two
types; 'plate' with arched head, projecting rim, cast raised
lettering on face, 'NRC' (New River Company), fixed in ground;
'Milestone', slightly tapered with curved top, raised cast
lettering 'NRC' (New River Company) on one side, fixed in
ground.
