GV II
House. Early C19. Painted stucco, slate roof hipped to the left with a large partly-rendered stack to the right party wall. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. C20 casement windows (probably in original openings) to the 1st floor; a pediment with moulded coping over the central 3rd of the eaves has a very small circular window to the apex. The 6-raised-and-fielded-panelled door and overlight with panelled reveals and soffit are set in a prostyle timber Tuscan portico with a modillion cornice. To the sides are segmental-curved single-storey flat-roofed bays, each with 3 6/6-pane sash windows. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached to the front right, a high brick wall extends forward for approx 10m to meet a front wall with a section of cast-iron railings to the right and gate piers with plaster urns to the centre.
