II

House. Early C19 with mid C19 alterations to the ground floor.
Painted stucco, hipped slate roof with rendered stacks to
sides and rear. Double-depth plan with 3-storey rear wing.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. A former
central door space (now a mid C19 window) has a fanlight with
radial glazing bars and mid C19 margin panes with crossed
glazing bars below a 6/6-pane sash window to the 1st floor and
3/6-pane sash to the 2nd floor. To the sides are 4/8-pane sash
windows to the 2nd floor, 8/8-pane sashes to the 1st floor and
mid C19 French windows with margin panes and overlights with
crossed glazing bars.
The left return has various early C19 and later windows and a
mid C19 single-storey porch, now the entrance, in the rear
wing which has a 6-panel door and overlight with crossed
glazing bars.
