GV II
House. C18 with early C19 bay. Painted stucco, slate roof (formerly thatched) with rendered stacks to gable ends. 2-room plan with end stacks with a rear right wing and a 2-storey outshut to the rear. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; originally symmetrical 3-window range. Forward frames to 6/6-pane sash windows and a moulded hood on brackets over a 6-panel door which is now half-glazed. The range to the right is covered by a large early C19 semi-elliptical 2-storey bay with 8/8-pane sash windows, a dentil cornice and flat lead roof. Horizontal tiles projecting from the left side of the right-hand stack suggest that thatch reached that height. INTERIOR: not inspected.
