GV II

House. C18. Rendered cob, hipped thatched roof with a C19 brick stack to the left return. 4-room plan with single-storey C19 and C20 forward projections at each end. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. 1st-floor windows have forward frames, 2 to the left are C19 horned 6/6-pane sashes, 2 to the right are plate glass. An expanse of blank wall at the left, stack end implies the existence of an open fire. The C20 left-of-centre door and gabled shingle-roofed porch is flanked by C19 2-light 3-pane casement windows. To the far left is a C20 single-storey brick extension, to the far right is a single-storey lean-to forward block with a shingle roof and door. INTERIOR: not inspected.
