GV II
Pair of houses with third house and outshut added to E end. Early C19, extended mid C19. Limestone rubble and dressings with brick gable and ridge stacks and a stone slate roof. Single-depth plan. EXTERIOR: each of 2 storeys; 2-window range. A symmetrical pair with right-hand addition and dressed quoins to the left-hand ground floor. Timber lintels spanning pairs of openings, to 2 doorways either side of former party wall with C20 doors and porches to left-hand and later right-hand entrances. Timber lintels over ground-floor C20 casements, and pairs of first-floor C19 casements. The rear elevation has 2 blocked entrances to the right and 2 inserted windows to the left, with a second-floor 6/6-pane sash to the left of the party wall; E gable has a 3-light attic mullion window, above a long single-storey outshut. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached garden wall of limestone rubble extends approx 30m to the E beside the stream.
