GV II
House, divided into 2 and extended, now one. Late C17, divided and extended C18 and unified late C20. Coursed limestone rubble, brick rear exterior and right-hand gable stacks and stone slate roof. Single-depth plan. 2 storeys and cellar; 2-window range. Timber lintels to ground-floor openings, left-hand doorways, No.9 has a boarded door, wide ground-floor and first-floor windows, the latter with a shallow raking roof, with 3-light casements, No.7 a blocked entrance, C20 top-hung ground-floor casement and small first-floor 2-light casement. At the right-hand end of the right-handed ground-floor window is a straight joint marking the extension. The rear has an exterior stack with small gable. INTERIOR: details include a large rear left-hand fireplace with splayed reveals and bressumer, with a C20 fire surround to the right-hand end; C20 stair, formerly to the centre at the front, collar truss roof.
