Row of 3 houses. Early C19 remodelling of earlier structures. Coursed limestone rubble, render to Nos 96 & 98, brick ridge stack and stone slate and interlocking tile roof. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 1:2:3-window range. No.96 has late C19 horned sashes and half-glazed mid C20 door; similar sash in dormer with cambered head; eaves level higher than Nos 98 & 100, set lower down hill to right. Originally No.98 a 3-window range, the right-hand window now part of No.100, the roof of which in 2 sections either side of the stack, and the front slightly canted at the former party wall beneath, with a central doorway with C19 6-panel door, large C20 ground-floor window and horned sashes with margin panes to the left and first floor. No.98 has a right-hand doorway set back, horned plate-glass sashes with margin panes, and a casement dormer with cambered head. INTERIOR: not inspected.
