Row of 7 shops with flats above. Late C19. Snecked limestone with roofs mostly of slate but with some tile replacement. Each shop is of 2 window bays and of 2 main storeys. Each has a single 2nd-floor window which rises into a gabled attic dormer. The windows are sashed, with projecting sills and plain reveals. The dormer windows have segmental heads. The right-hand shop has a canted corner doorway. The gutters are carried on timber brackets, and the eaves step down to the right of the 3rd shop. The 1st and 2nd shops from the left retain timber shop fronts which appear to be mostly original. Chimneys on party walls. 3-window range to right-hand return under gable.
