Formerly known as: Cleeve Farmhouse.
Farmhouse. C16 or C17 and later. Timber-frame with lath and
plaster infill, on rubble plinth; rubble; steeply-pitched
plain tile roof; C17 brick stack with C20 superstructure, to
centre front; similar stack to left returned side. H-shaped on
plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attic and cellar; 4-window range.
Advanced wing to right: 3-light casement under simple hood, in
box framing. three 2-light casements, one in advanced wing to
left with similar casement to gable. Entrance to centre left:
C20 studded and battened plank door in earlier frame under
brick segmental arch; to right, 3-light casement under brick
segmental arch, and 3-light casement under simple hood, in box
framing with passing-braces; to left are two 2-light
casements. Right returned side: three 2- and 3-light
casements, over C20 glazed door with 3-light casement to left;
2-light casement to right. All fenestration C19.
INTERIOR: exposed timbers; chamfered ceiling beams; panelling;
ex-situ balustrade.
