SO58NW BOULDON 1943-1/2/22 Bouldon Mill 15/03/74 (Formerly Listed as: BOULDON Corn Mill)
GV II
Corn mill, now house. Late C18 or early C19. Sandstone rubble; hipped roof with some old plain tiles; brick ridge stack. L-shaped on plan. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys; 3-window range: C20 2-light casements under brick segmental arches; plain lights with central wood mullions and, to left, leaded light with metal casement. Central entrance: C20 glazed door in altered opening under brick arch, and flat hood on cast-iron pillars; one C20 bow window either side in altered openings. C20 extension to left. Right returned side: C20 fenestration; metal over-shot wheel with wooden axle. Rear: 2-light metal casement under brick segmental arch. INTERIOR: retains metal spur wheels, stones and shafts etc.
