Farmhouse. Late C16 or early C17, altered and extended early C19. Stucco; Welsh slate roof with 2 gables to front; 2 spurred brick composite ridge stacks; brick stack to rear. E-shaped on plan, with C19 range to left rear. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and cellar; 3-window range: C19 casements. Entrance in recessed central bay: C20 glazed door in C19 panelled doorcase with flat hood on consoles; flanked by C19 3-light casements. Scalloped bargeboards to eaves. Right returned side: brick; late C19 2/2 sash and horizontal casement, over part-glazed door under stone flat hood on scrolled wrought-iron brackets, and canted bay with 2/2: 8/8: 2/2 sashes. Left returned side: rendered brick; C19 rafters; C20 2/2 sash and casement, over late C19 part-glazed door. 3-storey rubble wing to rear; 2-window range. C19 casements with some leaded lights; corbelled eaves. Rear: C19 lean-to. INTERIOR: exposed C16 or C17 timber-framing; chamfered spine beams; panelled doors and wall cupboard; fireplaces; C19 open-well staircase to first floor, with stick balusters and clustered newels; C17 straight staircase flight to attic.
