Town house or possible merchant's house with later shop. C17 or C18. Textured stucco or render on studwork; steep asbestos slate roof plus hipped roof with projecting eaves to wing. Single-depth plan plus rear outshut and short wing, probably the original porch; plan probably truncated on the right. 3 storeys; 1:1-window range. Early C19 or C20-copy hornless sashes with glazing bars. Ground floor has small old projecting shop front on the left with canted 6-pane window, panelled under sill; glazed door; larger altered late C19 double shop front projecting on 3 sides to wing; end consoles to sloping fascia; plate glass windows. Mid C20 extension to shop front to right-hand return with large panelled fascia and lights with arched corners. INTERIOR not inspected.
