Harbour office. Early C19. Killas rubble with some granite dressings; dry Delabole slate hipped roof. Small rectangular 2-room plan plus later lean-to on the right. Single storey; symmetrical 2-window front plus lean-to. C20 copy 16-pane hornless sashes. Central doorway with stone key and imposts to brick arch over late C19 or C20 V-jointed ledged door. INTERIOR has granite flags to passage. The painter Henry Tuke used this building as a studio. This office is built on the C17 Town Quay (qv) and is part of an important group including the Custom House (qv).
