Shop, now restaurant. Probably mid C19 with C18 and C17
remains and mid C20 alterations. Scored and painted render
with slate roof and brick chimney caps.
3 storeys and 2 bays. On the ground floor is a timber shop
front with 2 windows, a central doorway, pilasters with sunken
panels, and a fascia. On the 1st floor there is a single wide
bowed C20 window. On the 2nd floor there are 2 sashed windows
with plain reveals and projecting sills. Between the windows
there is a plaque inscribed: 'A & ABS 1935/ P - - 1756/
[?]1654.' The left-hand gable chimney is of red brick and the
right-hand one is of yellow brick.
INTERIOR: said to be altered in 1990 but to retain old
staircase.
