GV II

House, now shop, offices and dwellings. Late C14/early C15, with later alterations. Roughcast; timber-frame and plaster; pantile roof, with gable to left; stack to rear. 3 bay plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range: C20 metal casements under simple hoods, and C19 3-light casement with moulded architrave to gable; cusped braces form trefoil panels under massive cambered tie-beam and collar; weathered carved barge-boards. Entrance to left (to No.29): deeply-recessed under massive soffit beams, behind ogee-headed opening: early C20, 4-panel door and plain overlight, in moulded case; to right, C20 eight/eight sash. Central entrance to No.31: C19 half-glazed door in moulded doorcase; flanked by C20 lights with upper casements; probable bressumer; rendered addition, to right. INTERIOR not inspected. (RCHME: Herefordshire: 117 (13)(14)).
