House. Late C18/early C19, to possibly earlier core. Brick on ashlar plinth; steep-pitched Welsh slate roof; 2 brick lateral buttress stacks; brick axial stack to rear. EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 7-window range: central 6/6 sash flanked by narrow and broad sinkings and 6/6 sashes, under ashlar lintels with gauged brick tooling; similar fenestration with 3/3 sashes; moulded brick eaves; central pediment with ashlar detailing and tablet with shield. Central entrance: part-glazed 6-panel door recessed under moulded stone pediment hood with frieze on plain stone pilasters; flanked by narrow light and, to left, sinking; four 6/6 sashes; ashlar lintels; stucco band. Single-storey wing to right, with late C19 tripartite window with 2/2: 4/4: 2/2 sashes, under ashlar band; brick end stack; rear: porch to 6-panel door, under semicircular ashlar arches and band. Returned sides: blind openings to 1st and 2nd floors. Single-storey wing to left returned side, with 6/6 sash in altered opening to rear. Rear: central canted staircase bay with round-headed 6/6 sashes under semicircular ashlar arches, over 6/6 sliding sash in altered opening; flanked by blind openings, and tiers of 6/6 and 3/3 sashes; ashlar band. INTERIOR not inspected.
