GV II
House, now offices. Late C18, altered mid C19 and late C20. Stucco, with rendered ground floor and slate roof. Plinth and first floor sill band. 3 storeys plus attics; 4:1 windows. First and second floors have original 12-pane and 9-pane sashes. Upper floors are divided by pilasters and by a band between floors, with dentillated cornice and frieze with swags and roundels. Balustrade panels below the first floor windows. Attics have panels containing 4 roundels, the outer ones glazed. To left, a set back bay above a side passage, with original sashes on the first and second floors. Ground floor has a rebated round-arched doorway with panelled door and fanlight, flanked to right by 2 round-arched glazing bar windows, and to left by a C20 garage door. INTERIOR is noted to contain a wrought-iron staircase and plaster panelling. (The Buildings of England: Pevsner N: Nottinghamshire: London: 1979-: 231).
