Former vicarage, now house. 1862, designed by the Luton architect George Halton for the Rev. James Milne-Hamilton. Muscular Gothic style. Red brick with blue banding and polychrome dressings under a steeply pitched slate roof. Asymmetrical building of irregular T-plan of 2 storeys and attics with irregular windows, mainly pointed arched sashes. Eastern 'cross' wing contains principal rooms: west wing contains services. Main (south) elevation has projecting
gable to right with double window to first floor, 3-light canted bay to ground floor and pointed arched doorcase in angle. Two gabled windows to left and square bay to ground floor centre. East front has projecting gable with double window to first floor and bay to ground floor and projecting chimneystack. Series of gables to rear. Interior has original fireplaces, some marble
surrounds, doors with chamfered panels and original panelling and mouldings. The main staircase and servants' staircase also survive.
