Town house or office, now office. Mid to later C19. White-painted stucco on brick, slate roof. Deep double-depth plan. Cellar, 3 storeys and attic, 5-window symmetrical facade with plinth, 1st-floor sill-band, heavy bracketed cornice, parapet to attic. The ground floor has channelled rustication, a central segmental-headed doorway with double-doors, a moulded architrave and carved keystone cartouche (including a sailing ship), protected by a prominent bracketed cornice; and segmental-headed windows with keystones; the 1st floor windows have shouldered architraves except that in the centre which has a pediment on consoles; the 2nd floor windows have raised sills and simpler architraves with triangular heads; the attic windows have plain reveals; and all these windows are sashed without glazing bars. Gable chimneys. Rear and interior not inspected. Forms part of terrace on north side of street but differs from the rest.
