Public house. c1900 facade over earlier core. Mock timber-framing in the Shrewsbury style, with plain tiled roof. 2 storeys with attic dormers, 3-window range. Doorway across angle of High Street and Milk Street, then a continuous public house frontage, with paired segmentally-arched leaded windows each side of a doorway, and a further door to the right. Continuous fascia carried on console brackets over. Upper windows are tall 2-light casements. Ornate mock framing, with quatrefoil frieze, ogival tension bracing and close studding, with arcaded decoration below the eaves. 3 gabled dormers in the roof. Axial and gable wall stacks.
