Solicitors' offices and attached railings and gateway. 1910. By William Beedham Starr and EBH Hall of Nottingham for EH Frazer & Son. Ashlar with slate roof and 2 coped side wall stacks. Renaissance Revival style. Plinth, first floor sill band, pulvinated frieze, dentillated cornice. Windows are leaded casements with ashlar mullions and transoms. 2 storeys; 4 window range. On each side, a bow window, 2 storeys, 4-lights, the ground floor windows cross mullioned. Above, a shouldered coped gable containing a cartouche. In the centre, an ashlar doorcase with panelled pilasters and segmental pediment, framing a cartouche with the number 84. Panelled double doors. To right, a cross mullioned window, 4-lights. Above, 3 windows, 2-lights, divided by Ionic columns and raised panels with keyblocks. Outside, running the full width of the front, an ornamented wrought-iron railing on a moulded ashlar plinth. Central double gates with openwork piers.
