Includes: No.1 WELLINGTON SQUARE. 2 houses. c1830. Stucco. Roofs not visible. 2 coped stucco ridge stacks. Plinth, quoins to ground floor, first floor band, eaves cornice, coped parapet. Windows are mainly original glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves. 2 storeys plus attics; 3 x 6 windows. L-plan. Street front has a projecting centre with a canted bay window, 3 sashes, with Ionic columns and pierced balustrade. Above, a sash with cornice and above again, a dormer with pediment. Side bays have a sash with eared architrave, and above, a sash with cornice and balustraded balcony. Above again, a dormer with cornice. Each return has a central doorcase with Ionic columns and entablature, and round-arched doorway with panelled door. On each side, a sash. Above, 3 sashes with cornices and balustraded balconies. Left return has a rear wing, 2 storeys, with 3 sashes on each floor, those to the first floor with cornices. Outside the left return, a boundary wall, coursed squared stone with slab coping and square piers, with an off-centre opening and rounded corners.
