Includes: No.2 HAYMARKET. Stock exchange, now bank, and railing. Mid C19 with mid C20 alterations. Ashlar with ashlar and pink granite dressings. Roof not visible. Italianate style. Former stock exchange, to right, has sillband, channelled first floor, cornice with guilloche band, pierced balustrade. Single storey plus basement; 6 window range. To left, pedimented granite doorcase with small window above. To right, 5 windows. Outside, area railing, broken by C20 porch to basement. Bank, to left, 2 storeys plus attic; 4 x 4 windows. Channelled rustication, dentilled main cornice, minor cornice and blocking course with crest. Commercial Street front has 4 plain sashes, and above, 4 smaller sashes. Ground floor has to right a granite plinth and 2 larger shouldered windows. To left, a late C20 channelled shopfront with glazed door and overlight to left, and a window to right. Haymarket front, to left, has similar fenestration with 3 windows on the upper floors. To left, a set back entrance bay with a single window on each floor. Ground floor has similar C20 shopfront with 3 windows to left and glazed door and overlight to right. INTERIOR not inspected.
