Three small town houses in terraced row, now offices. c1850, altered. Watershot coursed sandstone blocks, slate roof. Probably single-depth, each house single-fronted. 3 storeys over cellars, a 5-window range; with blocked cellar openings, the doorway to No.4 to the left and those to Nos 6 and 8 coupled, all with plain monolith surrounds and internal steps; windows with raised sills, plain surrounds and altered glazing, and the central window at 1st floor set in the lower of 2 blocked doorways which appear to have been loading doors. INTERIORS not inspected. Forms group with Nos 10, 12 and 14 adjoining to the right (qv); and, with Nos 5-9, and 11-13A Nicholas Street to the rear (qv), part of an interesting block of "late Georgian" town housing.
