Detached house. 1835, slightly altered. Red brick in Flemish bond (ground floor front covered by C20 scored render), slate roof. Rectangular double-depth double-fronted plan. Georgian style. Two storeys with basement and attic, 3 windows, symmetrical; central doorway (up renewed steps) with Ionic pilaster doorcase, 6-panel door and rectangular overlight; 12-pane sashed windows with flat-arched heads. Rear has similar sashed windows, central round-headed stairwindow with radiating glazing bars and coloured margin panes, back door to basement and low basement windows with glazing bars (former back door at raised ground floor level and flight of steps up to it removed and replaced by small C20 conservatory). Interior: egg-and-dart cornices; dog-legged staircase with scrolled brackets, stick balusters and mahogany handrail; full suite of cellar rooms. Forms group with No.66 to the right, which is similar.
