2 houses, now offices. Late C18; No.19 dated 1777. Mid C20 rear addition. Built for Thomas Broadbent. Brick with ashlar and brick dressings with slate roofs and 4 gable stacks. 2 storeys; 6 window range arranged 3:3. Windows have brick flat arches. Left house has dentilled brick eaves and blocking course. Three 12 pane sashes and above, two 9 pane sashes. Wooden doorcase with eared architrave and semi-pediment, with panelled door and overlight. To left, a paired 12 pane sash with pilastered wooden surround and cornice. Right house has smaller dentilled eaves and ramped coped parapet. Three 12 pane sashes and above, three 9 pane sashes. Below, to left, wooden doorcase with eared architrave and semi-pediment, with panelled door and overlight. To its right, two 12 pane sashes. Right return has three 12 pane sashes on the lower floor and three 9 pane sashes above. Rear has a full-width mid C20 single storey addition. INTERIOR not inspected.
