Estate cottage. Dated 1880. By Robert Griffiths of Stafford for Thomas Fletcher Twemlow. Red brick, with blue brick and ashlar dressings and steep pitched gabled and hipped plain tile roofs. Side wall and ridge stacks, with prominent coped flues set diagonally. Plinth, flush brick quoins, first floor band, dentillated eaves. Windows are mainly original wooden casements and sashes. Doors close boarded. Two storeys, two bays. T-plan.

Front has projecting gable to left, with three-light cross casement to ground floor and two-light casement above. Datestone inscribed "TFT 1880" in gable. Right return has a projecting hipped entrance bay with a hooded porch flanked to right by a plain sash. Above, a three-light strip window with brick mullions. Rear has projecting gable to left, with a three-light casement and above, a two-light casement. Setback bay to right has a door and overlight and above, a three-light strip window with brick mullions.

INTERIOR: Original plan, with plain rooms mainly with original four-panel and close boarded doors. C19 marble fireplace to ground floor, C19 iron fireplaces to first floor.
Winder stair and landing with stick balusters.

OUTSIDE: blue brick plinth to right, in front of the entrance bay. Square brick gate pier with pyramidal stone cap. This forms part of a gateway shared with the Abrahams' House (q.v.).
